ReplyDeleteVery very humbling to see how many people are doing all they can to help too. It's a noble cause without an obvious, concluding solution.
ReplyDeleteI want to update: the girl I took the picture with who was waiting for her husband? Disappeared. Can't find her. Did she go to the Red Cross, did her husband come for her, or worst case scenario she was kidnapped for other purposes (it is not unusual....)

ReplyDeleteMany already speak French. Some have family there (reunification takes years to go the legal route) Our little friend Zizi wanted her child born in France because in Italy you are born with the nationality of your parents (blood citizenship) as opposed to getting the nationality of the country you are born in (land citizenship) Don't know how France handles it, but we know how Italy handles it. Those are a few of the reasons for France attraction.
